Bamboo Band Disbanded

The Filipino band, Bamboo which is composed of Bamboo Mañalac (vocals), Ira Cruz (guitars), Nathan Azarcon (bass), Vic Mercado (drums), has decided to disband after 8 years of successful music grooving performances. They made the hit songs “Noypi,” “Halleluja,” and “Tatsulok.”

Bamboo’s main man Bamboo Mañalac has issued his statement in behalf of his group. The statement actually did not reveal the main reason why Bamboo disbanded. It’s more of a confirmation that it’s indeed over for the band and also their way of saying thank you to all who were part of their successful music career.

There are always reasons why a band is breaking up, whether all of the band members want to do different things or move forward to a different group or reach a standpoint where creative differences are intolerable. one thing is for sure, Bamboo will always be remembered for the original Pinoy music they brought to us listeners.
